Pros
The health insurance is amazing, and small yearly retention raises are nice. They advertise tuition reimbursement as a benefit but the program is selective about which applicants receive it, understandably so. PTO accrual policies are very generous, it's difficult to ever run out.
Cons
They do nothing for overworked clinical staff, offering bonuses for working through burnout and often expecting clinical staff to work through breaks and personal emergencies. They'll ask clinical staff to go above and beyond their job responsibilities without offering any increased pay to match the increased work. HR consistently protects staff who are anti-vaccination, staff who are anti-masking, white supremacists, staff who openly ridicule patients and violate HIPAA to do so, and staff who do the bare minimum to keep their jobs but aren't concerned with patient care quality or patient advocacy. In my time working at Centura, I've met almost exclusively horrible anti-medicine people in both clinical and non-clinical settings, as well as in management, while the good people I've met left the company as soon as they could. I've never worked somewhere that's so open about prioritizing profit over employee wellness or any sense of ethics.
