Pros

People working at the facilities are amazing.

Cons

Corporate is run like a mom & pop shop. As bad as frontline staff think it is at corporate, I can confirm it's so much worse than I imagined it could be. The level of dysfunction is embarrassing, and high turnover points at cultural issues. Workload expectations far exceed a 40-hour work week, even with a frantic pace. No established processes, procedures, lines of reporting, or onboarding materials. No resources for staff support/development. The burden of making systemic improvements are put onto staff that cannot keep up with daily workload as it is. If seeking a career in administration- look elsewhere, or look outside of healthcare altogether.

Pros

Great pay Great benefits Great team culture Great non-profit values

Cons

Large corporation going through a lot of structural changes these past few years had made it difficult to keep things aligned as the company disassociated from advent health, while simultaneously merging centura health into commonspirit

Pros

Good pay, decent management, flexible scheduling while in school and overall healthy work environment

Cons

There is no rotation for PRN staff to be put on call, meaning you will always be the first they put on. Additionally, if you're not used to working with 12+ patients at a time, this isn't the place for you as they like to load us up instead of bringing in more techs and nurses.
