Pros

Patients and the actual job are what made it worth while. I wish I could still help people. I love it. The leadership and some employees made the environment terrible. If you don’t have thick skin, willingness to do anything they want, understand that they speak the language of harassment, use punishment to silence you, view disability as a huge problem and burden, hate to see you improve or get education or improve and they make promises to you that you can move up in the clinics only to find ways to never let it happen.

Cons

They have no shame in lying. They will fire employees for false reasons, creating false supporting evidence (easily proven incorrect and inaccurate) also taking zero responsibility. They will fire employees with disabilities. While an employee was still in the hospital employee was fired, employee was not medically sound or awake. Leadership cleared employee’s desk without any verbal explanation or permission or security there. Leadership took employee’s items. Documents that were meaningful and important. The first day employee was in hospital. Employee did not know they were fired for three weeks. The leadership saw the employee several times including the day released from hospital. Employee spoke with leadership. Employee was not told they were fired instead was told to make an appointment to speak with the leadership they were speaking with. That never occurred ever. Team members were no longer able to talk to employee. Many visits to clinic and leadership never told employee. The letter states no communication. False. unemployment told employee “quit” however, leadership sent out a letter of firing while employee was still in hospital. Leadership does not follow ADA protocol and will make harassing remarks to belittle the employee. Leadership does not respect FLMA/STD/LTD protocol. Leadership will refuse to provide any information or support to employees and make retaliating decisions about employees employment. Employee told if they don’t return (even with supporting documentation from their Dr stating they were not ready, that leadership would fire them. Employee was then told that the leadership was “not saying that statement really, but they were saying it because the employee had to make that decision right then. “ leadership refused to provide any HR information, employee had to email people randomly hoping to get any feedback.

Pros

Good pay, decent management, flexible scheduling while in school and overall healthy work environment

Cons

There is no rotation for PRN staff to be put on call, meaning you will always be the first they put on. Additionally, if you're not used to working with 12+ patients at a time, this isn't the place for you as they like to load us up instead of bringing in more techs and nurses.
