Pros

Higher than average hourly pay for Phoenix; managers are kind

Cons

No clinical ladder and the one being created is only 2 tier; no incentives to grow professionally; overuse of PRNs but won’t adequately staff those with an FTE; poor job security at this hospital with all the budget cuts made

Pros

Good pay, decent management, flexible scheduling while in school and overall healthy work environment

Cons

There is no rotation for PRN staff to be put on call, meaning you will always be the first they put on. Additionally, if you're not used to working with 12+ patients at a time, this isn't the place for you as they like to load us up instead of bringing in more techs and nurses.
