Pros
CHS does have good people and management working there. My direct lead/boss was great, as were my peers and many other individuals that I worked along side. The pay was decent, but non-competitive in terms of raises and bonuses. I found the job to be simple, and the work to be easy.
Cons
In terms of cons; I will keep this as short as possible to avoid ranting. CHS is extremely mismanaged, and has a very serious disconnect between leadership and staff. 2020/2021 was a hard year on businesses and individuals alike. However, when staff came into work and put forth an good effort during such difficult times, it went unrecognized and unappreciated. Despite being part of one of the most profitable teams in the Corporate office, we saw little to no praise, compensation or recognition for our work. For Christmas of 2020 we received a $2.99 Amazon Prime movie rental. For Christmas of 2021, I received a $20 Walmart gift card that I could never even get to work. All of that said, staff at CHS is burned out and it has become a revolving door. Management does not care about the happiness, development, or life’s of their employees.
