Pros
The first pro is the people, especially on my team (in the IS department). Everyone looks out for each other and wants to see teammates succeed in whatever they are doing. New ideas are welcome as well as questions. The second pro is that CHS is a growing company with lots of improvements made and many more to come. It's an exciting atmosphere to be part of a company coming into its own. It's easy to see that executive leadership is trying hard to take the company in the right direction for everyone. It's fast paced and never boring...an overall great place to work. Oh, one more thing, some weeks can require extra hours or time to finish a project, but work-life balance is very important (on my team anyway) and I don't feel my family suffers at the expense of my career.
Cons
I love my job and all of its challenges...so I can't think of any that I would consider cons. Sometimes people complain about the dress code, but I think it looks very nice and professional to dress in business attire and we get business casual Fridays where we can even wear nice jeans (unless you are management). Either way, no cons from me.
