Pros
The opportunity to serve my community and provide quality care to my neighbors provides for the best reason to work at our CHS facility.
Cons
In theory, standardizing processes is the best thing one could do for many reasons. When changes are made that affect day-to-day care of patients from the role of a nurse, involvement and feed back from the BEDSIDE nurse is a must. A few areas I am concerned about: charting system, equipment availability, changes in management, not nurse friendly. Follow through from senior team needs some work. Corporate visits are viewed as punitive.
