Don't care about their employees at all - Anonymous employee Community Health Systems Employee Review

- Horribly low pay compared to other hospitals in the area for the same position - Up until 2025, our hospital didn't offer additional pay for holidays! They decided to start doing that in 2025, but the trade-off is that we now only accrue 4 hours of PTO per paycheck. That's awful and they should be ashamed of themselves - Corporate CHS is always sending down orders for us to cut open positions and make people go home early instead of letting them make their hours, and now we're severely short-staffed and can't get people to come onboard because of the bad reputation this place has - this organization is all over the place. There's no accountability, no standardization, and it shows. The leaders at the hospital level are just flying by the seat of their pants with no direction. Policies are vague or non-existent.
