Pros
Coworkers are amazing, true colleagues and friends for life. Healthcare benefits are very good, pto is also very good. Mission is important, patients are, by and large, lovely. Union is trying - uphill battle.
Cons
C-suite is completely checked out. Only the CMO is working to improve the work culture and she is held back by the 100 different hats she wears. CEO is checked out, CFO rules the roost so every decision heavily relies on cold and limited $$ analysis with little foresight and appreciation of how those very $$ are affected by staff happiness. Clinician turnover is high, patients with a new pcp every 6-12 months. Burn out is rampant and clinicians (all staff really) are viewed as easily replaceable by csuite.
