Pros

Flexible work hours, no previous experience needed, paid-for CPR and first aid trainings, great PTO- 3 weeks up front, good benefits This company offers a ton of flexibility in scheduling, however they will contact you constantly to work outside of your "agreed" hours. The company will take as much as they can get. They allow you to work as many hours as you would like, and overtime pay is time and a half.

Cons

Management expects you to give as much of your time as possible, can be pulled and put into other houses at any point in time, same pay for every employee regardless of work ethic, experience, or years.d The biggest con for the company is they will take, take, take as much as you can give. They also pay a flat rate to all workers, even if someone does 1/2 as much work as you do. They value meeting criteria for staffing more than the quality of their employees. I also did not like that you can be pulled from your current house and placed elsewhere for your shift without them asking you first. I enjoyed working here for the most part, but in a staffing crisis, it was very difficult to successfully work without adequate staffing.I struggled with saying no and a work life balance was difficult for me. Supervisors were undervalued and overworked, so many houses had to run without them.

Pros

CSG offers a really great amount of PTO that increases with time served (3 years, then 5 years, etc.) The team I worked with was absolutely fantastic and dedicated to the work. Compensation was decent, but not for licensed professionals.

Cons

Very poor communication from the executive team to the rest of the employees. They don't have in-house marketing and expect their mental health staff to market themselves to clients, as if we were a small private practice rather than a large for profit mental health organization. This led to consistent issues with getting clients in the doors. In 2025 they changed the PTO payout for employees so instead of getting what is left in your bank when you resign, you get a very small portion of it, which is ridiculous.
