Pros

Free lunches from sales people. (Some) Nice coworkers. Decent PTO plan.

Cons

So much drama at the location I worked at, management only cares about protecting themselves and their bottom line. You get a cost of living expense raise every year, 1-3% of your hourly rate, this being around 0.30$ usually. They are always short staffed, so while you get plenty of PTO good luck using it, unless you request off a year in advance. They don't have a real training program and you have to seek out the trainers to ask to learn something, and until they've seen you do it 100 times you aren't allowed to perform it alone. High turnover rate but they're unable to hire new staff so the situation only gets worse.

Pros

The people at CVP make work enjoyable. There's something about animal lovers coming together to support hospitals that draws incredible people. It's a fast paced environment, which I really like. And it's growing so there's always something new and interesting to do.

Cons

We're still small in the support center, which is a good thing given the focus on providing care at the hospitals, but it can feel chaotic at times. You need to be ok with working through ambiguity.
