Pros

My direct manager was great and 6 years ago training was comprehensive. I attribute that to my direct manager.

Cons

Renewals come in at 1%. Life insurance is pushed harder than anything else with a max 30% commission. Company can't find new carriers or retain current carriers. Commissions are consistently going down as a percentage. Upper management doesn't seem to have any accountability for the lack of foresight on market conditions. I gave it a year and a half after the transition from liberty to comparion and it consistently got worse. Sales took a big hit in pay, averaging 30% less yoy while at the same time losing 35% of the tops sales reps in the company, but Upper management has remained the same some how escaping any accountability.

Pros

The flexibility to work from home and from an office allows both myself and my team to thrive and collaborate. Our robust carrier panel allows our agents to help customers with most/all of their insurance needs.

Cons

Communication between our carriers and our agents/managers can be improved upon.

Pros

I've been with the company for 10 years and currently serve as a Regional Marketing Manager, which I think speaks volumes on its own. What has kept me here is the consistently supportive and transparent leadership at all levels of the organization. Senior leadership, including the CEO, leads with an honest, human, and relatable approach- you're not just hearing values talked about, you see them modeled every day. The culture is collaborative and people-centric, and there's a genuine emphasis on work/life balance. Employees are trusted to do their jobs well, given autonomy, and supported when challenges arise. Communication is clear and open, and there's a strong sense that leadership is accessible and truly listening. It's a place where you feel respected, valued, and motivated to do great work.

Cons

As with any growing organization, things can move quickly and change is ongoing. For people who prefer rigid structure or a very slow pace, that may take some adjustment.
