Cons
Managers are not trained to mentor or provide career growth to their teams. Your review is nothing personal and it’s generic, no coaching. When business slows and they want to let you go, they will change your title and tell you your position has been eliminated. Fear rules, everyone is afraid to make decisions so nothing changes.
