Pros

Ability to work from home is available if you work in project management. Some perks may include cell phone, and laptop - but, that may also mean that you would have to work more hours. Benefits are reasonable.

Cons

I have worked for both small companies and large companies alike and I have always received a small yearly increase and potentially bonuses. Working on projects, I was hugely responsible in securing a huge government project and resulting into a 3 person team increasing to over a dozen in my team alone, not including other employees added to our sub-contractors and even internal employees in different departments. I have seen many empty promises and under-qualified and unprofessional people being hired on my team. Even though I exceeded expectations on my work, I have yet to see a raise after 4 years of working here. Obviously upper management believe in reaping the reward from other people and letting them continually suffer. There is a severe lack of accountability, responsibility, and lack of good work ethic. To say that I am disappointed with this company, would be an understatement. They have sucked the life out of me and there is little opportunity for career advancement and they pay way below market standards.

Pros

Coworkers, exposure to different areas of IT, decent pay

Cons

No support from upper management, working with skeleton crews on multiple projects at once, 1-on-1s felt like a waste of time, annual raises were not competitive
