Pros

remote work, on-time payments, just standard benefits

Cons

technical managers are discouraged over software engineers because of high number of technical debt with current products. general dishonesty around the question "what do you want to do?" directors really don´t care, you have to know the right answer beforehand, and is never related to what you want to do. bounty programs and the hackaton are the main ways of getting attention, so if you like working overnight or weekends you will be a recognized hero. DevOps here is just a position for operations guys that can code cloud infra with terraform, forget about culture.

We are glad to hear you enjoy the ability to work remotely and are proud that we have been able to pivot with the times and do so successfully. We know we can’t be the right fit for everyone but we do like to provide opportunities like hackathon and our bounty program to give opportunities for everyone to engage and shine. As a business we want to consider and make the right decisions for both the company’s success and our employees, which in some cases involves consideration that is not immediate. We will continue to look for new ways to recognize and engage our teams as we continue on our path to continued success.

Pros

1. So-called un-limited time-off but never taken into consideration it all depends on how badly they need you, so if you are in a position critical then you have some good time off. 2. They "MIGHT" help you when you need emotional support, but this is not permanent changes with policy. 3. Summer hours availability.

Cons

1. Doesn't match industry level compensation. 2. Communication from the higher ups are always confusing and no clear goals provided. If there is something wrong with the communication between the higher ups you are always responsible even for that. 3. No stock options as they want the flexibility to fire you at anytime. 4. No severance provided until they know you can sue them back. 5. Look out for their quarterly meetings, if they are not doing good in Revenue, then expect layoffs within next few weeks. 6. They always tend to put the blame on lower level employees, when there is a escalation even when its not your fault. Prepare for getting fired if you are especially under a senior who has been with comscore for long + your team have good resource bandwidth.
