Pros
Good pay, good schedule and benefits are ok.
Cons
No one is on the same page. There is no consistency. Very stressful work environment. The company is too cheap to hire people to take calls, so you have to work referrals and receive a lot of calls from insurance companies/employers requesting notes and work status reports. You’re basically a Referral Coordinator/ Switchboard Operator/Do everything. The Clinics will transfer any Call to the Referrals Department just because. If you call the Clinics on errors on referrals THEY ENTERED in, they place you on hold forever and act like you’re bothering them. Clinics act like the Referrals Dept is scum. The employee appreciation is at an all time low. You’re just a seat filler. People come and go. The few tenured employees that were here, have been quitting lately or are just about ready to quit due the work environment and management. Management does not take your concerns seriously. They don’t care about anything other than numbers and scheduling with their in-house Doctor’s. They promote who they want to promote... it’s not about what you know it’s about who you know and how much butt you kiss! If you need a job just to get by, then apply! If you’re looking for a career in the medical field and growth within a company then do not apply. I wish I would’ve took the reviews seriously before taking the job here. Every day is miserable. I can go on and on.
