Lots of freedom. Some cool people to work with. Extremely relaxed environment and free beer on tap.
Cons
No room to grow, unless the owner likes you and gives you a bottle of bourbon to show that. If not, your doomed to rot outside of the inner concentric circle. Concentric Sky is built on a backbone of taking advantage of UofO graduates, and undervaluing seasoned professionals that question their approach to problems. Very low pay and poor benefits for families. Management puts out a vibe that “you’re lucky to work for us” and not one of “we’re lucky to have you”. The management is out-of-touch with industries outside of Eugene. Micro management happens a lot here. While working there I felt disrespected and disliked by the leadership and employees. Felt like a boys club and they’re aiming to keep it that way by driving out people they don’t like. Professionalism takes a big dip here.
