Pros
It was a very people-friendly environment. Lots of fun in the office, potlucks, and camaraderie. I enjoyed being able to determine the time of my shift, and the paid time off and vacation benefits were generous.
Cons
Upper management didn't show much support. There was little incentive to work hard and go that extra mile because when I did work hard, i was unable to move up. The more jobs in different departments I tried to apply to, the harder it seemed to be. Once I was promised an interview, it was scheduled, and then cancelled because, they said, I "didn't turn in" my resume "on time". It was mundane work with no hope of career advancement. I was laid off but would have quit on my own anyway. They need to focus more on skills long-time employees have and foster better career development.
