Great benefits, awesome resources are made available to employees.
Cons
Directors and leadership are not qualified to run bath water. The organization has lost it's economic resource engine (Congressman Murtha) leaving employees scrambling for meaningful projects. As a 501c3 organization, revenue information is made available to the public. From there, anyone can see the writing on the wall -- the organization is sliding into irrelevance. The financial benefits are shared only by the few of the inner circle.
