Pros

It was honestly the best job I've ever had. The workload wasn't overpowering, the tasks were challenging, my immediate superiors were motivating and inspirational. Fantastic dynamics with the other departments. I worked in L&D and we got great support from Ops and Recruitment. HMO on day 1. I joined right at the beginning of the transition from Xerox to Conduent. It was great at first, then slowly, I saw the decline in the company... Read on to the Cons of Conduent...

Cons

So why did I give a 3 star rating? Redundancy. Cost-cutting. No budget. I only got to stay at Conduent for 6 months. One by one, people were leaving, but we didn't know why. Then we found out- major MAJOR job cuts. Globally. I was told that the cuts started in the USA where Conduent is headquartered, and then it moved to other countries. Conduent has let thousands and thousands of employees go. Also, I was unable to get my reimbursement back from training materials that I had spent cash on, and also our supplies request got "put on hold for months"... Pretty soon, the supplies will be all used up, and then what? I was seriously considering transferring departments, but I thought it would be a waste of time because the same thing might happen again. Oh and, they stopped our quarterly incentives which was between 5% - 10% of your basic pay. Fantasticly-motivating. Well done, Conduent. I bet your ESAT results will be undeniably lower that when you were Xerox!

Pros

Job as described. This company is a contracting company pretty much and through them I was working for Humana. It was straight forward and as described, but the training Humana provided was a bit hectic and intense, and people were quitting left and right because of how much anxiety it caused.

Cons

High anxiety training environment that felt like we weren't fully equipped to do the job. Not having the freedom to get up and away from your desk unless you were specifically on a break. Automatic answering phones.
