Pros

on the ground level of company evolution.

Cons

Company fails to recognize the few “perks” non-call center employees have such as working remotely. Middle management is disorganized and the right hand rarely knows what the left is doing. Most teams work in solos and do not understand departments as a whole. There is no consistency in how we should approach externals customers when we have multiple contracts with them. The one reward we had - to work from home is being taken away. Somehow, upper management thinks I can interact with my teammates (who are in India) more effectively by starting my day in an office at 8 am, instead of the 5 am time I am willing to do when I can walk across the house to my office to interact with my managers. For a company that wants to be considered innovators, I think we may be a little off. We’re higher people in forever cities AND HAVE NO OFFICE SPACE FOR THE PEOPLE WE HIRE. There’s something seriously wrong here.

Pros

Job as described. This company is a contracting company pretty much and through them I was working for Humana. It was straight forward and as described, but the training Humana provided was a bit hectic and intense, and people were quitting left and right because of how much anxiety it caused.

Cons

High anxiety training environment that felt like we weren't fully equipped to do the job. Not having the freedom to get up and away from your desk unless you were specifically on a break. Automatic answering phones.
