Pros
You usually work with a good team. They offer pto, 401k, and health plans. Rarely get coaching due to high call volume. Flexible hours.
Cons
This job is very stressful with a super high call volume! People are always upset. Medicaid applications process is meant to be slow and inefficient can take up to 90 days! Sick and unemployed people who need coverage with people constantly being sent through hoops. The whole time you have to make excuses for the slow process. Management constantly monitor you about going over talk time. The verification system uses multiple apps and lags for incoming calls it takes that long to verify! Paperwork sent in is often not checked properly putting front line reps as a target for angry customers. Low pay. Upward and horizontal mobility in the company but it's who you know. Mandatory overtime whether you signed up for this at your interview or not. Things change like the weather. You're just a number if you're remote.
