As a math teacher, I did the math and there was not enough time to properly grade and do all the tasks assigned! I HIGHLY suspect that some of my co-workers were not even looking at assignments that were turned in because they simply did not have the time to open up the attached assignments and provide proper feedback to the students. This school gave me twice the number of high school math students as another online school that I have worked since working there. One day, I did the calculations and counted the number of assignments that I had to grade and all my other responsibilities. My calculation only had me giving three minutes to open the file and grade an assignment, and I was still at sixty plus hours per week. Someone needs to do the math and see that the number of students given is way too many for an instructor to ETHICALLY do their job. I left because I could not jeopardize losing my teaching license. I didn't want to be giving out A's for assignments that I didn't even get a chance to look at because I did not have the time.
