Pros

For QA, there's a solid 40 hour work week available even during the slow season. For the sales floor (which I also worked for 2 years), a lot of the other sales reps are amazing to be around and there's pretty much unlimited overtime available during AEP.

Cons

Pay is below standard, especially if you come onto the sales floor unlicensed. There has been some effort to correct this, but not enough. Communication is pretty much nonexistent between departments. I passed a call certification recently and was supposed to be put into production for live calls the next day; it took them three. Most times if there's a change to grading a call the sales agents aren't notified beforehand. Little chance to move upward at my location, and you won't get anywhere unless you're willing to kiss upper management's butt. Seasonal work. No matter how many times they tell us they're going to keep more people, they never manage to. If they keep more people past the end of AEP they're slowly parsed back down over the next few months.

A collaborate environment between HR and OPS.
