Pros
I experienced good pay and benefits while at this job. The company is consistently merging and acquiring so because many departments' infrastructure are not fully realized, you have a good amount of opportunity to take the steering wheel and attempt to innovate and create new ideas with minimal oversight. If you are a straight white woman or man - this is a great place for you. Plenty of opportunity to rub elbows with leadership and "connect" and make good friends. Because of this work environment, management does not have a lot of accountability to actually be a good people's manager. I say this sincerely, good luck if you are a POC entering this company.

Based on the above, my biggest con is obvious.....Diversity and Inclusion. It's honestly one of the worst I've experienced in my career. The lack of diversity is very clear, just take one moment and look up the faces of all the Officer level management on their website and you'll see certain types of faces/demographics missing. And trust me, this trickles down into other areas of the job and you may be more susceptible to face glass ceilings that prevent your growth career and developmental wise if you don't fit the "conventional mold." But don't worry, they send out announcements and emails about how D&I is important to them and will be supported. Note, there was an uptick in these types of communications since the issues that occurred in June 2020 when leadership discovered racism still existed in the country and felt pressure to do something about it. A year later, I can honestly say from an employee's perspective, it's a lot of words with very little change experienced. But again, based on what you look like or identify this may not be an actual concern for you to support, make actionable choices to support POC, and be a part of the larger case for equality. In terms of inclusion, you may have a hard time bringing your full an authentic self to work. In my last 6 months working at this company, there were no team events or interactions connecting management that allowed for bonding or creating a safe workspace. There is a reason why this company has such a hard time retaining diverse talent. Honestly, the best thing about Covid WFH was not having to deal with quite a few terrible personalities on a face-to-face basis.
