Cons
Constant Contact's Private Equity Overlords (clearlake, Siris) spun them off from Endurance and a couple years ago and had them make a string of acquisitions in the last two years (SharpSpring, Vision6, others) to the tune a quarter Billion dollars. The problem is that Leadership has no idea how to implement and integrate them, both on a technical level and on a company culture level. In the middle of 2023 they let go of their COO and CTO, and made yet another another round of massive layoffs. Low career stability, not growing so little to no opportunity for career growth or advancement. Seemingly everyone with the company (not C level) has been there either for a super long time (10years+), or they get churned in 2 years or less.
