Flashy, fun, hardworking company - Anonymous employee Constellation Brands Employee Review

Pros

The company's reputation as a young, casual, and fun place to work along with the recent Corona acquisition has led to CBrands hiring some incredibly intelligent and hard working talent in the past several years. In-office gym, product allowance, notoriously fun Christmas party and other events, bars in the offices, new focus to furthering training of current employees (jobs skills and other certifications such as WSET). Generally promotes from within.

Cons

A competitive atmosphere full of competitive people tends to lead to immense competition between employees. Could be considered good or bad depending on who you are. Others include relatively high turnover, constant restructuring, and some rumor mongering. Hours can be rough depending on group (for some, 50-60 while other are out at 40)

Pros

Once a good portfolio with good benefits

Cons

Very poor management/leadership. Majority of people in managerial positions are either clueless, don't care, or are too busy brown nosing to Senior Leadership. Egotistical yuppies with no talent and no leadership qualities. No path forward for career advancement. Wine and Spirts is a complete joke and the beer portion of the business has taken a huge hit (see the old CEO blaming immigration enforcement on slumping beer sales this year and last year). This is the same Board of Directors that bought Ballast Point for a few billion dollars and sold it within a few years for pennies on the dollar. This all points to the mismanagement and irresponsibility of the company on the whole.
