Pros
One of my favorite things about Consumer Cellular is we always try to hire from within. This gives current employees opportunity to grow with the business and have the experience to effectively assist other employees with their success. Consumer Cellular has 6 different core values and to me, the most important core value is "happy employees make happy customer's", in order to accomplish this, actions speak louder than words. The management team shows appreciation to their employees by extra bonuses, gifts, rewards programs, and employee appreciate events. During Covid-19, Consumer Cellular distributed masks to all the employees to help keep them and their families safe and healthy.
Cons
Working in a call center, taking calls from customer's all day is a difficult job. There are times of year where the absenteeism rate is very high which puts a lot of pressure and extra stress on the current employees that are working.
