Pros

Clear work times with flexibility within those hours so you can make up time during lunch or the hour you don't work. If you get in with management then they are very lenient about time and bringing your kids with you to work. Everyone tries to be super friendly and there are attempts to bond for 15 minutes every Friday. You can also listen to music or watch anything with headphones as long as you get your work done.

Cons

If you want somewhere to just work do not work here. Everyone in management is a clique. Expect to be trained? Then you will get the most basic stuff as if you are 3 and be told wrong information. If you mess up after that (or don't) the supervisor will blame you to make herself look better and like you were trying to hide it. If you have proof you did everything correctly or it was someone else you will never get an apology. Have any questions or need clarification? Even if you give every bit of information the supervisor will ask you questions you already answered, require you to send a ton of screenshots so she can look into it (instead of pulling up the information herself), then tell you she will look into it and go to her boss for the answer (every single time) and may get back to you in a day or never. Someone has a problem with you? You get into trouble for it no questions asked. Are quiet or tired and don't want to socialize? You aren't working well with the culture of the company and have communication issues. Want to ask questions to better understand something or new process? Don't, it makes the supervisor think you are questioning her. Never vocalize your opinions, even if it was just about thinking you would meet higher people in the company when they come to the building because that is gossip. If you talk to management or HR about anything, personal or work related then expect them to discuss it amongst themselves even if you asked to keep something quiet. None of this matters if you make friends though. If you become part of the clique and maintain the façade then you can get away with almost never coming to work or doing an hour of work and nothing more as they will be open and friendly to you. There are no opportunities to be promoted, everyone is young, new to the job or area and don't want to leave.

Pros

Not many benefits to working for this company other than the fact that you don't have to work for an agency so you have more control over who your clients are. It is essentially a barely functioning payroll company for the government.

Cons

Getting hired on takes way longer than their willing to tell you. You have to stay constantly on top of them to get the process done. To get any process done really. Their admin team is much MUCH too small for the size of this company. So the second something needs to be approved by them, expect 3-4 weeks of waiting. Also expect them to not tell you that. Additionally, when you get linked with a new client. They will tell you that that's going to take a week or so. In all the years I've worked here I've never had them do it sooner than 4 weeks. And thats with me calling to check about it all the time. They also don't pay nearly enough for the work.
