Pros
Great benefits - healthcare, etc. Sales bonuses Decent pay Consistency - people will keep calling, so you'll always have a job It's a good opportunity to make a lot of money if you're willing to sacrifice your life outside of work
Cons
No work/life balance. Many employees in the call centers are forced to work over 40 hours a week, sometimes closer to 60. They are constantly forcing you, at the very last minute, to stay over the end of your shift because so many calls continue to come in. The company doesn't communicate well with the call center. Customers expect us to be able to answer all their questions, when in truth we're often not aware of problems until the customers bring them up. It also takes a long time for the company to resolve anything.
