Our CEO has killed the spirit of the company that existed, even through the challenges of COVID. Brags about earnings on the shareholder call while simultaneously cutting thousands of jobs, whether via sneaky backroom layoffs or heavy handed return to work mandates forcing employees to separate from the company. Many many individuals were hired since 2020 or made significant life decisions based on the promise of remote work. This is how we function and produce results. The employees who took the separation package represent a huge pool of talent, and their absence will have a hugely negative impact on those who chose to stay and deal with crowded noisy offices while figuring out how to continue taking remote meetings from an office environment. Did I mention literally everyone now has ZERO trust or confidence in the senior leadership team? This is no longer a company we care about and feel inspired to be a part of, it's a paycheck and even your top performers no longer want to climb this toxic ladder.
