Pros

There are no Pros. Would not recommend.

Cons

The Continental Plant in Fletcher was very unsafe. They had double the injuries compared to most automotive plants. Management did very little to help the situation. They did not have fall protection to protect the operators from falling into acid tanks. Waste water operators had to work in areas that was always filled with acid fumes. Management would not rotate operators at different jobs to reduce strains. Operators were working 12 hour days lift 8 to 15 pound parts over 8000 times per day. The management staff did not care enough about quality only about daily numbers. Making brake calipers is safety critical component and on the assembly line poka-yoke were turned off in order to produce parts when they were not working properly. I would not want my brakes to come from Continetial.

Pros

Great work life balance and culture. If you want to work at a place that will provide a low stress, flexible position with amazing people, this place is no doubt one of the best in that area.

Cons

Pay is low compared to other companies in the area and the cost of living in the area is high. They seem to be outsourcing jobs to cut costs, so job security is not the best right now.
