Not a bad company to start working in, but limited professional growth potential for a programmer - Senior Software Engineer Continental Employee Review

Pros

They offer stable employment with decent benefits, like 13th salary, occasionally performance prizes, and also, starting with the Senior Software Developer range, a target achievement-based VPA (variable payment agreement - out of the company profit) which can add up to another salary for good target achievement. The office climate and working conditions differ a bit from one department to another, but on average the climate is medium to good and working conditions medium. It's possible, though not very easy, to switch teams to work on different topics/projects.

Cons

The Timisoara, Romania location is near the city limits, the rooms are generally quite overcrowded, there are no relaxation spaces aside from the balconies. On some projects there is a lot of inertia, and people who are either incompetent or dodging work or both, and as a result, it can be quite frustrating at times. If you're unlucky, you might get an obnoxious direct supervisor, which, as everywhere, can be a pain. The company goes for an average employee, who is not overly capable, but can be taught to do some types of tasks, and generally you are pushed to become an expert in a narrow branch, as much as possible.
