Pros
Smart, dedicated people are the norm, not the exception. Company encourages you to (respectfully) provide input and debate on matters outside of your area, an experience that is liberating when you are providing feedback to others, but can sometimes be challenging for those who aren't used to being challenged. Communication of company goals and objectives is a high priority for senior management. Work environment is fun and never boring, and projects are sophisticated and present complex issues. Continental takes its pledge to act with ethics and integrity very seriously. Senior management is appropriately cautious about outsized risks and has successfully steered the company through real estate downturns.
Cons
Continental can be an intense place at times. The trade-off of working with smart, passionate people is that you will feel pressure to behave similarly. I personally prefer that to the alternative, but some people have left Continental after determining that the culture was not for them.
