Pros
It’s a small department so everyone talks to each other. The job requirements are pretty simple most of the time.
Cons
Extremely low pay. Director doesn’t know how to be a director. He shows up to work 1/4 of the time and has no idea what’s going on. You get no training other than qualifying for your SLED card yearly. You don’t get enough uniform items so be prepared to wash your stuff about two-three times a week. The students complain about anything and everything and the college does whatever they the students ask. You will probably never see a pay raise regardless how long you work there. Get rid of leadership and officers that don’t perform their job duties.
