Pros
Work for yourself pretty much. You're out by yourself all day so you're not under a boss's nose or anything like that.
Cons
A lot of responsibility and mental stress. It's not hard labor by any means but the stress can get to you sometimes if you're not careful. You don't really get paid equal for the amount of work you do.
