Pros

Friendly staff. Great for entry level positions if you have no experience. Community homes - clients take their own meds, but you have to do notes every hour. Residential homes, you just do one long note at the end of your shift. 4 clients per home. There is some down time.

Cons

Verbally aggressive clients at times. Supervisors get 1st shift. Most staff works 2nd shift (2:30pm to 10:30pm). Low pay. No way to move up in the company unless you become the supervisor of a home (and then have to do tons of notes and coordinate with the case manager at the clinics.)

I’ve had a consistently great experience with this organization. The team is professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the people they serve. Everything is handled efficiently, and there’s a clear commitment to quality and integrity. It’s refreshing to see an organization that follows through on what they promise.

Pros

Boeing site is a unique opportunity to do something truly interesting and get acquainted or reacquainted with workplace norms, in a unique manufacturing setting that you might not otherwise ever encounter. A good way to work on yourself if you're willing to be humble and adaptable.

Cons

There are limits to how much COPA WAT can serve as a career bridge. Most activities will eventually bore you to tears (figure of speech, usually) if you're more high-functioning, and the trainings can feel infantilizing.
