Pros

Making a positive difference for vulnerable populations such as SMI and addiction/substance abuse. This company has a great mission and purpose. Helping those who may or may not be able to help themselves.

Cons

Leadership and organization are lacking at this company. Starting from New Employee Training all the way through to the "on the job training." It was riddled with inconsistencies and too much unneeded information and not enough of clarification for required information. Many times brand new case managers were left to their own devices without so much as guidance from individuals that are supposed to be team leads and hire. Unethical behavior not only tolerated, but overlooked completely by leadership. The on the job training was discombobulated and frustrating at best. Several complaints were made about specific trainers and were dismissed by leadership, stating "they are great trainers." Ignoring the countless complaints and concerns from lower level employees. If the company can short change an individual on pay they will. There are language differentials, but only for employees that are well liked. Double standards for seasoned case managers were abundant. Favoritism was an exceptionally bad problem at Copa Health.

Pros

I’ve had a consistently great experience with this organization. The team is professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the people they serve. Everything is handled efficiently, and there’s a clear commitment to quality and integrity. It’s refreshing to see an organization that follows through on what they promise.

Pros

Boeing site is a unique opportunity to do something truly interesting and get acquainted or reacquainted with workplace norms, in a unique manufacturing setting that you might not otherwise ever encounter. A good way to work on yourself if you're willing to be humble and adaptable.

Cons

There are limits to how much COPA WAT can serve as a career bridge. Most activities will eventually bore you to tears (figure of speech, usually) if you're more high-functioning, and the trainings can feel infantilizing.
