It is a Bill Gates Company. People are good and decent. A truly global company with offices throughout the world and opportunities to interact with them. A photography-lover's dream job.

Cons

CEO/CFO seem to be working toward some personal exit strategy at expense of company's survival or success. People are not valued, decisions are all top-down, short-sighted and unrealistic. Image licensing biz collapsing with no coherent plan for navigating the spiral. Sales expertise is undervalued, Website is inadequate, Finance support is incompetent. No one feels secure.

Amazingly friendly coworkers, great tech stack and opportunities to learn. SWEs have the opportunity to wear a lot of hats.

Cons

Management had some issues from what I heard, but I was always too busy developing and improving great products. It was a tough market with the ever-shrinking stock photography market, which was likely the reason for it's demise. If the developers working at Corbis had a more relevant market fit, the company would have soared.
