Pros
Good pay and great benefits, nice downtown Seattle location in a cool, older building. Great place to work for photography lovers, and other creative types. Generally nice, talented people, and an environment that seems to offer good opportunities for self starters. Many are trying hard to improve the website and increase market share in a difficult economy, and an industry whose revenues are declining due to microstock.
Cons
Terrible upper management that (at a minimum) condones an environment heavy with secrecy, fear, and clubbiness, while playing the parts of 21st century champions of innovation and an egalitarian workplace. Think profound cognitive dissonance here: a huge gap between what they say and how things really are for most employees. Tough office politics for a company this size. Management rotates/reorganizes/re-strategizes every 2 years, continually demotivating the staff while searching for direction.
