Pros
Best part of the job was the occasional trip to the staples center box to catch a game. There were some good people working here. Benefits were pretty good as well as pay.
Cons
Some managers have poor people skills and should not be in leadership positions. Be careful about job titles here. A "Business Analyst" supporting a sales team most likely will mean someone producing templated excel reports with pivot tables. Lots of canned reporting exports out of Microstrategy. No direct SQL queries from the database and very little technical knowledge needed. If you find yourself second guessing if you should work here if presented an offer, save yourself the trouble and move on. (I should have done that). No real opportunity for transitioning to different departments or verticals. Leadership will not hesitate to fire/lay you off regardless of how long you have worked if there is a need to cut down budgets. Does not pay to be loyal here. "Unlimited Vacation" is a load of garbage. You can't really take much time off when you are expected to produce labor intensive "standardized" excel reports. Unlimited vacation is really a way for the company to save money from having to pay you out when you inevitably leave this dump.
