      Pros

      Get paid well if you are willing to the overtime. Can very easy clear 80k a year as a floor officer starting out.

      Cons

      -Hazardous work environment HIV, Hepatitis, Leprosy, Toburcloses, etc. -Staff assaults are high, Likely to protect inmates from prosecution or outside charges that happen while incarcerated. -Easy to get in trouble over minor things for staff. -Health insurance is very poor. -No repercussions for filing false claims against fellow staff, even if found to be untrue.

      Pros

      CC Uses cutting-edge Technologies, which is good experience for resume building; many of the Teams are collaborative; interesting work and you can believe in company goals.

      Cons

      Director and Manager level mgmt at corporate here do not provide guidance on projects. There is a lot of turnover on data projects because new employees are thrown into the deep end and then just blamed if results are not as expected. CC really needs more hands-on project oversight. There are also behavioral and anger issues with a couple long-time ppl as well, and this is both exhausting and (sometimes) outright humiliating. They need to treat new people better.
