Pros

Some of the inmates had great stories.

Cons

I had to see pts alone. An iron door controlled by master control separated me from an officer, who was not armed, and in the waiting room. To open the door, a button was pressed. The door could open in seconds or minutes-you never knew. While I was there several people were attacked by inmates. Not even a high-security prison. It's easier to "fix" a problem than to prevent it. Bullying was common by higher level employees. I was forced to do a toenail removal for an inmate who'd been sexually inappropriate toward me. The MD didn't want to do it because he and the inmate had had an altercation. But I was forced to do it. Don't think you will make great changes to this system. Rocking the boat made me watch my back. I was on call 50% of the time. Nurses had to call for EVERYTHING. I would never recommend working here.

Pros

CC Uses cutting-edge Technologies, which is good experience for resume building; many of the Teams are collaborative; interesting work and you can believe in company goals.

Cons

Director and Manager level mgmt at corporate here do not provide guidance on projects. There is a lot of turnover on data projects because new employees are thrown into the deep end and then just blamed if results are not as expected. CC really needs more hands-on project oversight. There are also behavioral and anger issues with a couple long-time ppl as well, and this is both exhausting and (sometimes) outright humiliating. They need to treat new people better.
