      Pros

      The training received was excellent and prepared one for working in a prison. Plenty of hours to work and good pay. It also does not take a lot of experience to work here.

      Cons

      Very overworked. Twelve-hour shifts could easily become sixteen-hour shifts. Because they do not have enough officers to work it was not uncommon for officers to work two weeks straight of these long shifts or longer. The supervisors could have been more involved and supportive of the officers.

      Pros

      CC Uses cutting-edge Technologies, which is good experience for resume building; many of the Teams are collaborative; interesting work and you can believe in company goals.

      Cons

      Director and Manager level mgmt at corporate here do not provide guidance on projects. There is a lot of turnover on data projects because new employees are thrown into the deep end and then just blamed if results are not as expected. CC really needs more hands-on project oversight. There are also behavioral and anger issues with a couple long-time ppl as well, and this is both exhausting and (sometimes) outright humiliating. They need to treat new people better.
