Not a fudging thing. They will back stab you in a heart beat to get ahead. Starts at the top and goes down from there. The Admin are snakes in the grass says one thing and does another only cares about towing the company line. They aren't even a corrections company! They are a real estate company that buys properties puts ICE facilities or Dangerous prisons and or hug a thug jails on.

Cons

Long time with core civic and it's a nightmare now. It used to be a brotherhood. Admin literally is only there to "serve the inmates" the don't give a fudge about staff. literally not one single fudge to be given. Admin only rewards themselves but not the other officers. Well they do but only for the "favorites" They literally don't care about anything until some thing bad happens and they have no choice. The people they hire on same day without background checks and then they have to fire them for having a criminal background or they hire people who have done time in the facility. Truly feel it's a dangerous place to work you can't trust to the people next to you or the Admin. It used to be a great place here now it's pathetic and sad. and overtime is ridiculous no life outside of work.

Pros

CC Uses cutting-edge Technologies, which is good experience for resume building; many of the Teams are collaborative; interesting work and you can believe in company goals.

Cons

Director and Manager level mgmt at corporate here do not provide guidance on projects. There is a lot of turnover on data projects because new employees are thrown into the deep end and then just blamed if results are not as expected. CC really needs more hands-on project oversight. There are also behavioral and anger issues with a couple long-time ppl as well, and this is both exhausting and (sometimes) outright humiliating. They need to treat new people better.
