Pros

I met great people while working here, from students and fellow-instructors. The work feels meaningful and fun, especially when you can see how it impacts people. Building regulars to your class feels rewarding.

Cons

The toll on your body and energy over time can wear you down, especially if you're not a high-energy-extrovert-type person. Lots of time spent making playlists and sequencing. If you have any issues with the company, you will be ignored. Favoritism with who gets selected to teach classes, and a lot of bending of rules for the favorites.

Pros

Strong community and culture, benefits include mental health, lots of PTO, flexible schedule, lots of growth opportunities

Cons

managers are typically the scapegoats for problems both by SSC/corporate and the students/clientele, low salary compared to high stress environment, on call all the time, expected to teach 4 classes - lead teacher trainings - own all operations - coach/hire/lead massive team of teachers (40+) - membership sales - schedule opp in a 40hr work week (usually ends up being more).
