Pros

Great informative teacher training with very knowledgeable instructors. Great training content.

Cons

Huge profit center for the company. They don't tell you until the end of training that you have virtually no possibility of teaching for Corepower unless you have an in with one of the managers. They do not hire based on skill set, only based on nepotism. Pay is also very low. $25/hr for one hour of teaching + one hour of front desk. That is once you complete a 30 hour internship ( really 60 hours with front desk work) at minimum wage. Not worth it. Take the training if you have the ability to market yourself and teach privately. It would be worth it then.

Pros

Strong community and culture, benefits include mental health, lots of PTO, flexible schedule, lots of growth opportunities

Cons

managers are typically the scapegoats for problems both by SSC/corporate and the students/clientele, low salary compared to high stress environment, on call all the time, expected to teach 4 classes - lead teacher trainings - own all operations - coach/hire/lead massive team of teachers (40+) - membership sales - schedule opp in a 40hr work week (usually ends up being more).
