Office vibe is the worse I ever worked at. There's no engagement at all with the employees because its the culture that been passed on by the CEO... you're here to work crazy and stressed, not to smile. It's an office where you sit on your desk and leave without talking to anyone. Higher management, specially the CEO and CTO, but also Engineering leader are unapproachable. There's a huge Ego issues amongst the 3 of them making it really hard to work with or have an honest conversation about the product or team. And this unfortunately get passed on the entire company. They make calls and then other comes and over write, and other overwrite... they are neve in sync... very egocentric leadership. If you do get the chance of talking to the CEO, be prepared feel small ad useless, despite you knowing you are a good professional. There is an abuse of power from the CEO that pushes fear of being fired and bulling in order to make him big and you small as ive been seeing with all my colleagues. Coretex is a company based on messy last minutes calls with absolutely NO PLANNING, goals or any view of feature. All product calls are made in the dark to developers without letting even project managers to know and object. A very hierarchical old fashion style of work, such as " I am the boss, I say, and you do... I don't want to hear or care about your inputs, just do as I said ". The quality of development of the software is very low, our tech debts are off the roof because they never prioritize finishing a job, or care at all about quality. Higher management does not support, trust or believe in the senior employees experience, very rarely buys in the work they do, but very often use bulling and humiliation in order to speak louder in the room to put everyone down as been seeing by most of employees. All meetings that they are present, ALL employees stays silent, nobody ever says anything on any meeting because of the fear of bulling and humiliation. VERY IMPORTANT: Higher management makes absurdly bad calls on development every single day, but at the end of the sprint they will make sure to humiliate you and say that this is YOUR FAULT, not theirs... this goes to every sector, HR, finance, software development, sales, support... This is a company that will hire you selling the illusion that the culture is changing and you are part of it. First few weeks you feel like you are making an impact, but DONT BUY THIS, they will put you in your place like they do with everyone else and hence why you have so many talented people resigning every single month. past senior hires didnt last not even a year. Very hard to keep employees in this company when the market out there is full of good work place at the same salary rate. It is not worthy to commit your mental health to work for this place.
