Pros

When Cornerstone's employees vote you as a Houston Top Workplace for 6 years in a row, you know that you're at a place where employees enjoy working year after year. There is no truer statement about the company than saying Cornerstone treats its employees as family. There is a long list of employees who have been at Cornerstone over 10 years, and some over 25 years! The management has created a wall of pictures to honor these employees who have dedicated so much service to them. The Company leadership makes a point that so-called "titles" don't matter...no one at Cornerstone works "for" someone else, they all work "with" each other. And management invests in the company and its employees to make everyone better and give everyone an opportunity to grow and advance their skill sets. And Cornerstone acts out its mission statement to "use and improve upon our God-given talents to make a positive contribution to the lives of our employees, customers, shareholders and the people who provide services to us." There's no better place for the servant leadership philosophy.

Cons

Maybe that once you start working at Cornerstone, you'll wish you had left your previous employer a lot sooner??

The Company continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining its service-focused culture while embracing many changes experienced over the past several years. Senior Management remains dedicated to keeping Team Members informed, engaged, and connected through regular virtual and in-person events. Leadership fosters a positive and collaborative work environment through an open-door policy that encourages questions, suggestions, and feedback. This commitment to transparency, communication, and employee engagement strengthens trust across the organization and reinforces a culture where Team Members feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute to the Company's success.

Pros

None, company does not care about employees

Cons

HR and management will make up lies, show no proof and fire you with no warning. Even when ask for proof of allegation, HR refused to provide as there was none. There is a reason they are now looking for their 3rd mortgage fraud investigator in 6 months time. They also do not believe in raises or annual review, poor 401k match and high cost for family benefits.
