Pros

Honestly, none that comes to mind. I worked with peers on my team (very few) that I'm still friends with years after leaving, so I guess that's one pro. We bonded over our exacerbation towards the ineffective and immoral organization.

Cons

-Pay is so low it's insulting. -Preach self care but expect you to do a 60 hour work week worth of paperwork in 40 hours. Will not pay overtime and prohibit weekend work so everyone ends up doing all of their admin work in a Word doc on the weekends then copy and pasting it on Monday morning. If you do not get the work done you will face termination. -You will be asked to do unethical things such as increase visits with clients even when they are not necessary just so they can bill for additional services. You will get multiple emails saying you saw X person 4 times try to get to 6, even when the client doesn't need to be seen and the point of the program is to get them to a point of independence. -If management likes you they will be more lenient, even if you are not clinically competent. If your supervisor does not like you, you don't stand much of a chance. -There are no checks and balances with middle and upper management. Your supervisor reviews you and their supervisor reviews them but does not bother to ask employees they are managing about their efficacy as a supervisor. -If you come in with experience they will do what they can to dumb you down.
